This fantasy is conceived on a ternary form with an introduction, where we can find all the motivic material within the two first measures. Written in a modal language, influences from a relevant solo clarinet works by Rosza, Messiaen or Bettinelli are evident. This piece was also composed with as a pedagogical tool, since I include several extended techniques such as frullato, multi-phonic sounds or quarter tones, but in the easiest way possible. So, along with the modal-tonal environment makes this work perfect to introduce young players to this new techniques. The work is dedicated to the great clarinet player and teacher Francisco Alegre Torrijos.
